01

Getting started

What is NewGen NCLEX Reviewer?

NewGen NCLEX Reviewer is a comprehensive nursing exam-preparation platform designed to help learners practice the Next Generation NCLEX approach. It brings multiple question formats, study modes, rationales, NCLEX Tips, Clinical Pearls, and progress tools into one learning experience.

When will the app be available?

The NewGen NCLEX Reviewer is currently in development, with an initial release targeted for August–September 2026. Development and app-store review timelines may change, so the website will be updated when official download links become available.

Where will I be able to download it?

The planned release will be available through the Apple App Store and Google Play. The current store buttons are prelaunch placeholders and will be connected to the official listings after approval.

Will the app be free to download?

Yes. The app is planned to be free to download, with free daily practice and optional premium access available inside the app.

02

Practice & content

How many questions are planned for the first release?

The current RN release is planned to begin with 1,007 original practice questions across eight question formats. Question counts may expand through future content updates.

Which question formats are included?

The planned launch bank includes Multiple Choice, Select All That Apply, Bow-Tie, Matrix, Trend, Highlight, Drop-Down, and Cloze questions.

Are these actual NCLEX questions?

No. NewGen Reviewer questions are independently developed educational materials. They are not recalled, copied, or official examination questions.

What learning support appears after a question?

Depending on the item, learners may receive an answer rationale, an NCLEX Tip, and a Clinical Pearl to reinforce the reasoning and related nursing concept.

What study modes are planned?

The planned experience includes daily questions, focused practice, custom sessions, mock exams, bookmarks, answer review, session history, and progress insights.

Does NewGen Reviewer include mock exams?

Yes. The planned NCLEX experience includes timed mock-exam options with 75, 135, and 150-question presets, followed by performance review and learning feedback. Final presets and availability may be adjusted before launch.

Does the app offer a CAT-style exam?

NewGen Reviewer is planned to provide an exam-style practice experience that supports pacing, endurance, and clinical-judgment practice. It does not reproduce the official NCLEX computerized adaptive testing algorithm, item-selection process, stopping rules, or scoring system, and results should not be interpreted as an official NCLEX prediction.

Will I be able to review my mock-exam answers?

The planned review experience allows learners to examine their responses and educational feedback after completing an eligible session. Exact timing and review behavior may vary by exam mode.

Is this for RN or LPN/PN candidates?

The first release is focused on the NCLEX-RN. An NCLEX-PN/LPN version is planned for a later stage and will be announced separately.

03

Pricing & access

Can I practice without paying?

Yes. The planned free option includes up to 20 practice questions per day, allowing learners to explore and continue using the platform without purchasing premium access.

What are the planned premium prices?

The planned initial options are $2.99 for three-day access, $7.99 per month, and $39.99 per year. Final pricing, taxes, currency, and availability may vary by country, platform, and app store.

What is included with premium access?

Premium access is planned to unlock the complete available question bank, all supported NGN formats, rationales, NCLEX Tips, Clinical Pearls, practice tools, mock exams, bookmarks, session history, and progress insights.

Where will payments and subscriptions be managed?

Purchases, subscription management, renewals, cancellations, and eligible restorations are expected to be handled through the applicable Apple or Google app-store account. Complete terms will be displayed before purchase.

Will the three-day access renew automatically?

The final purchase structure is still being completed. The app-store product page and purchase confirmation will clearly state whether an option is a one-time pass or an automatically renewing subscription before you pay.

Can I restore a previous purchase?

Eligible app-store purchases are planned to support restoration through the account used to make the purchase. Final restoration instructions will be available at launch.

Can I request a refund?

Refund eligibility is generally determined by the store or purchasing platform that processed the transaction. Apple App Store purchases must be requested through Apple, and Google Play purchases are subject to Google Play’s applicable refund process and policies. NewGen support can help identify the correct purchase channel but may not be able to approve or issue a refund processed by an app store.

What if I was charged but premium access did not appear?

First confirm that you are signed in with the NewGen account and app-store account used for the purchase, then try the available restore-purchase option. If access is still missing, contact support@newgenreviewer.com with the purchase date, platform, and non-sensitive transaction information. Do not send complete payment-card details.

04

Accounts & progress

Will I need an account?

An account is planned for features that require saved access and progress, such as purchase recognition, session history, bookmarks, and learning insights.

Will my progress be saved?

The planned account experience saves relevant learning activity such as completed sessions, bookmarks, and performance information. Final synchronization behavior will be confirmed before launch.

Can I use the same account on more than one device?

Cross-device access is planned when supported by the final account and app-store configuration. Exact device and platform rules will be documented at launch.

What if I forget my password?

A password-reset option is planned for email-based accounts. Users will be able to request a secure reset through the sign-in screen.

How can I request account deletion?

Use the Account & Data Deletion page linked in the website footer to prepare a deletion request without reinstalling the app. An in-app deletion path and final Firebase-connected process will also be provided before public launch.

05

Exams & responsible use

Does using NewGen Reviewer guarantee that I will pass?

No. NewGen Reviewer is an educational practice resource. Use or purchase does not guarantee examination eligibility, a passing score, licensure, certification, employment, or any particular outcome.

Is NewGen Reviewer affiliated with NCSBN or Pearson VUE?

No. NewGen Reviewer is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or approved by NCSBN, Pearson VUE, any state board of nursing, or a nursing specialty certification organization.

Can I use the app for real patient-care decisions?

No. The platform is designed for education and exam practice. It is not medical advice, a current drug reference, institutional policy, clinical supervision, or a substitute for professional nursing judgment.

Should I still review the official NCLEX test plan?

Yes. Candidates should verify current eligibility, registration, exam rules, and test-plan information through the official examination administrator and their nursing regulatory body.
